DM BEEZULBUBBA'S GAME RECAP SUPER BLOG

     We got off to a slightly later start but we are down to three players with one player running two Retainers so we take it slow. The Coddiwomple Company picked up where we left off last week resting in the former Mountain Lion Lair in Stone-Hell Valley. I made an early ruling in session about not being able to memorize spells multiple times within a 24-Hour period beyond your normal limit similar to Lamentations of the Flame Princess as this is in hopes we do not fall into the habit of a five room dungeon mentality where after a single sleep spell is cast they fall back to rest EXACTLY eight hours then return to adventuring. It's the kind of meta I call munchkinism. Several Wandering Monster Checks are made and the party from their vantage point is unable to see Bandits scouting the valley under moonlight but do see a group of Stirge descend upon and injure the donkeys of Snorri's Dwarf Cohort as well as their single donkey left in their care injured by the vampiric ...

    We started late, We started with Technical issues galore and as a side the Tablet feature for #Roll20 is fekkin terrible. I mean terrible but I know they have tied it in to the tiered subscription service so I also do not know, nor care, if they moved it up or not. These are the perils of the virtual gaming table and more of a reason that when I do #Wretchedverse stuff it will be theatre of the Mind streamed. Prolly use Discord or Telegram for Rolls though. I know several of my players are grump-rotted about my ruling on Clerics but it was not brought up during play except for Redrum's Enthusiasm for assaulting and reclaiming the Temple of Thaneduhr.    We started with going over some stuff that had not been settled between session such as identifying some magical items and I allowed players to make their rolls as I had previously between sessions made rulings on how we can identify magical items with access to a Library of at least 500GP which they do. d3 Days...

    Prolly should not have had a few beers before game time but I was thirsty. Sort of thirsty ? Anyway, we picked up where we left off with The Coddiwomple Company licking their wounds in the Mountain Lion Den overlooking the Eastern End of Stone-Hell Valley . While the party slept and Stonus was on watch he observed a group Kobold carrying fire wood and small sacks approach the darkened archway in the south cliff face and enter. Later fleeing a few rounds later minus a member or two of their brood without the bags and firewood. Also noting movement in the old Ruined Gate-House which looms eerily over the entrance to the valley. Oddly he made no mention of this to the rest of the party or I missed it. Benn observes nothing while on Watch as he cannot see in the dark and the majority of the Valley was cloaked in darkness.    As it neared midnight their camp having taken eight hours of rest stirred and interrogate the kobold prisoner whose name they learned is Gor...
